I know my father's favorite sports teams, especially baseball, and I text him to say who is playing on tv, so he can watch. I have to text my sister to tell him what is going on. It cracks me up. I watch some games, then we can talk about it.

I only went to one ball game, in Anaheim back in 1990. I don't remember who played but I remember I didn't know all the rules back then and my girlfriend explained what was going on according to the rules she was also explaining.
I never went to the ball game with my dad. He was in Europe when I was in California.
I did take my son to the baseball games and he became the best batter in the county in his age range.

I think it's so cool that you text your dad the scheduled game times. May every daughter have the same regard and consideration towards her father as you do.

I've been to baseball games with my father to major games in USA stadiums. I loved it.

Your father is a lucky man to have such a loving daughter as you.
I'm lucky too, I have two extremely extraordinary daughters who'd drop anything they're doing to spend time with me... If only we weren't 8000 miles away from each other.
I remember when I visited in 2012, my younger daughter begged I get her this cool electric guitar. I took the opportunity I had money to spend to not only get it for her but get her tickets to a concert in Indianapolis as well.
I only live to see my daughters and son again, hopefully soon.

Rooster, good luck with your family. you should find a lot of sports when you can watch. My father is in his 90's. I don't know how much time I have.

My father is into American football. It's not really my thing but I can watch it. He watches golf a lot. I can't do that.
