What kinds of music/bands does she like? Around this time of year, Ebay is offering great deals on Autographs from band members and such, everyones trying to sell stuff for xmas.

I know they have sales and deals on MP3 players, you could always give her that if she likes music so much.

Or the Tickets would be a nice gift too, I'm sure she would be happy with either gift.

You could get a family photo done, or maybe one of you and Katelynn (not sure I spelled it right), and a gift certificate (handmade) for the big one when baby is here) and have it framed in a really nice frame, etc. (But may be a little late for this now too.)

A certificate for a special trip/getaway after the baby is born.

Any special food items she really likes but doesn't like to buy because they may be expensive, you could buy her some of that as part of the gift.

I am one of those practical people and lean towards practical gifts, if there is something she needs, etc.

She wears her hair back, how about some really nice barrettes as part of the gift (make her a stocking with smaller gifts as part of her gift). Does she wear perfume? Put that in there too.

Make up a book of cerfiticates - 1 good for a breakfast in bed; 1 for a night on the town; 1 for a night of babysitting while she has a night off, etc. (Just a thought.)

Just some ideas. Hope this helps.

lol men are lost at times but you guys have some good ideas and yes Marie you spelled Katelynn right. Ill be calling her best friend to help out on the Cd's her fave band I NIN lol so getting anything from that as a stocking gift will work. The trip is a plan I plan on doing after the baby. Going to take her on a cruse or how ever you spell it. Mean while lol

I've no idea why I think this.. but I believe you have some sort of talent.. Whether it is in visual art, music, sculpter, glass, metal or wood... Am I completely off base? If not.. make something with her in mind. I can visit houses of girlfriends from when I was a kid.. and see pictures I drew for them hanging on their walls 25, 30 years later.

i agree - if you have the time, make her something.
i've made jewelry, art, boxes, transferred artwork
painted or inlaid in wood. i have made custom cds
and transferred them to portable digital mp3 players.
a special gift is furniture - especially childrens
furniture if appropriate. knitting something is great
scarf, blanket or needlepoint a pillow...

give her something simple that she can periodically
look at or hold which will always remind her of you.

make a card with an honest and heartfelt message.
