Well traveling around the world on this site I don' find a simple search to find a certain person on this humongous site. What am I missing after hours of looking?

Aside from general search, the site also has "Search by Interest" and "Advanced Search". If you had tried those and still couldn't find that certain person, maybe that certain person you are looking for is not here. There is nothing in your profile that would give a clue on what you are looking for in a friend. So maybe you should complete your profile and increase your chances in finding a match. Sorry but they took the Search link off the site in order to search by user name.. So unless you have had contact with them recently within e-mail or they post within the forums and you happen to see them there is no way to Search by Members name. Forum Admin Kristi

I met a beautiful person on an expensive paid dating site. My goal is to get them to join here. The cost of THAT site broke my piggy bank. BUT I don't know how to tell them to find me. The Admin response makes no sense. She refers to a user search then states there is no way to search by members name. Later she posts "members (users)" Why have a site with no simple way to find a specific person out of gazillion persons?

Why don't you just email them and tell them to join Mingle2 and give them your username?

That is an almost impossible quest, to search by a username. There are really a lot dating sites. They don't work together.

SUCCESS I will give my friend the URL from my profile page as it takes them to me directly. In fact you can give that URL from your profile page and they can find you instantly. Try it yourself.

Maybe try a reverse image search of your friend and see where else those images pop up?
