I wouldn't say "stuck in a rut". When I reference an older woman, I'm generally not speaking of someone just 50 but closer to 60 or older. Most of the information I have found, indicates my belief on the subject is accurate.

If what you believe is fact, it would be very useful to see some actual data to back that up. It would be really nice to believe getting involved with an older woman will most likely lead to a positive sexual experience instead of the usual stereotypical expectation.

This is one area I would really like to be proven wrong!! It would incentivize some of us older gentleman to actually consider someone closer to our own age group.

Well oldkid, I'd like to say this to you:

I really like most of your input here and about 90% of the time I agree with what you have to say, I'd like to stress I'm NOT interested in exploring your gay side but here's what I've found. I'm 62 so you're 10 years older than me so let's use 60 y/o women as our example. By 60 I think it's safe to say we're past menopause for most. I hear what you've said and agree that there are women who lose all interest in sex at this point but I don't think it's as high of a percentage as you do. I only have my own experience to draw from so we could say this is JMHO. At this age many women are far more selective as to who they have sex with, they know what they want and need and will pass rather than settle. OR there's another group that just want lots of sex and for whatever reason will do about anyone as long as you're hygienic. There's even a very real website called "Old and Ready" dedicated to this group. I could almost promise you could meet some fun gals there; there are more than you would think and I'm sure a lot more in Arkansas than Nebraska simply due to your much larger population. These ladies at this point in their lives create kind of a reverse effect from normal dating, it's sex first and then maybe you'll develop a relationship after. I also don't mean they're all on that website, they're out there you just need to meet them. 60 year old women want a man that's fun, they want to have good intelligent conversations, they want a man with good personal hygiene, they want a man who behaves with class and treats them with old school chivalry, they want to do the things they haven't done for years maybe because their ex or late husband Fred was no fun for the last 25 years.
They just want quality entertainment and treatment. I think you'll find that if you'll treat them the way they want and deserve to be treated they'll be very loving and treat you the way you want in kind. Good luck, don't go gay yet!
