Peter Gotti get's released from prison and almost immediately the head of the Gambino Family and the head of the Commission is killed. I guarantee the two were related. When Gotti went to prison his brother Peter took over. Then Goitt's son took over and once he stepped away from the family the Sicilian faction took control of the family and the Commission. Gotti want's the power back.

The hit was very similar to the Castellano hit the Gotti's planned. If it really was Peter Gotti behind this then this will lead to one big war. You cant kill another member, let alone a boss and head of the commission without the support of the Commission.

Looks like they have got one of the guys involved. Go figure he's an Italian from New Jersey who's DeCalvacante family was aligned with both Gotti brothers.....

I love how police released his information before he was arrested putting this guys life at risk, killing a mobster is a good way to get killed. There are rules Mobsters have to follow. You cant kill a made man without a unanimous vote from the Commission, let alone a boss. If you do, it's a death sentence. This guy wont last a week in prison.

Why would Gotti wait until he got out of prison to have the opponent he didn't like whacked? I am guessing Gotti didn't pull the trigger himself, so couldn't he have gotten it done from inside? Why wait?

And if it is so plain that Gotti called for the hit the second he got out of prison, wouldn't the cops think so too? And following THAT logic, wouldn't Gotti's opponent, knowing everyone would blame Gotti for "doing it the second he got out", have one of his OWN guys kill someone the second Gotti got out, thus framing Gotti and sending him back to the can?

Hmmm, maybe it was LAW ENFORCEMENT who set up the whack for the "second Gotti got out" as a way to tell Gotti "It has been quiet, so don't be starting any turf wars, now that you are out, because we will blame that first whack on you and send you right back to the can"?

Or MAYBE it is someone who is looking to start merchandise sales going on a "Now Italy is Great Again" style of caps (hand-stitched in Venice, none of this cheap Chinese merchandise the OTHER jerk pushes)?

The shooter was told ( by the mob boss) to stay away from the mobsters niece ( who he was dating), he didn't like that and shot nd killed the mobster. The shooter is not in the mob, neither is his family.

The shooters family are actually very good people, well known and respected in the S.I. area, they will not be bothered. But I do agree the shooter will be killed in prison, As I am sure his family knows too.

I don't buy the Government's details. Someone that's not connected could never get near a boss like that.

It was not a mob hit.. that is a know fact " on the street" by those who.. would know

The bosses house had over 20 cameras coving every square inch of the outside house and street in front of the house. The shooter crashed his van into the bosses car on purpose, bringing the boss outside.. where he was shot. The shooter had a very custom van.. easily recognizable, that is why he got caught so quickly in Bricktown, N.J the next day. 40 miles away.

The shooting was caught on the video tape.. as was his van. Now.. does that sound like a classic mob hit to you?..

you know as well as I that hitmen.. never get caught.. and are not stupid enough to be caught on tape and they don't drive customized vans.
