I worked with clay in college; my AA degree was in art. I really enjoyed working with clay and seeing how it would look after being fired.

Play with air dry clay, great way of expressing how I am feeling, get to be abstarct as well as using conforming shapes. self taught, and learning new things every day.

Sounds interesting. When I worked as an arts therapist in Germany, I always had clay sessions on offer.

I've just recently started playing around with it. Of course my partner in making things is so childish she always wants to make cartoon characters . She's 8 but we have problems with smoothing things out.

Would she be able to make a Simon's Cat figure for me?

surely, the fact that she wants to play should be fine, f she is no serous, she will get bored and find something else, unless of course you want this as a solo outlet, then just say. Or create something really silly together.

Simons cat or any cartoon character seems good, or even better name the ceations made and start a a whole new clay generation.

Lars, i picked this up in february purely as a tryout for personal therapy with my PTSD, loved it, somedays it became obsessional, made one piece, ball of clay in hand for the next, helped me get through some dark internal conversations. Not allowed to take it into my counselling sessions, hes a big blue meany.

She has me all over then place from cartoon characters to flowers and frogs. Today will be gnomes with attitude. We've even been making wands because she loves Harry Potter. But not clay lol help craft overload.

Different kind of therapy, I offered back in the days, I suppose. I went to residential care homes for people with all kinds of disabilities.

very British thing to have a gnome with attitude, laughing, love the sassy female ones.

Great wands can be made, just need to add jewels and all those thins that make it individual. may have given me an idea.

I was about to ask for details, but I can't. Seems, Dublin is too far away, outside your mail preferences. I am a gnome though, kinda laugh
