How often shoud we hold the American Poet Contest?
I say power to the people on this one. Let me know how you feel on this. |

If we did it every month we might get burned out. But if we did it once
every 3 or 4 months it could be far more rewarding. |

every other month,or 6 months,
is ok by me,,, my poems are a bit too long,,,anyways... but you need better judges, those who have no bias, or feelings about one of the contestants, good or bad, I vioced my thoughts on this at the start... someone who will judge fairly... |

I don't know what beef you have against the judges, but I know we did a good job. The picks were made independently and without collaboration between the judges. The task was not easy, for all the good poems that were written. I believe we did the best we could and the winner was picked fairly, so if you believe differently I am truly sorry. I also believe that most people who read the poems would have a hard time picking a winner. |

Whatever is whatever will be..if we do this every month, every other
month its all good. Personally I think the judges did a fine job with a very very difficult task at hand. I wouldn't have wanted to be a judge, too hard of a choice to make for me. |

only that one of the judges has a beef with me,,,not worried about th
contest,knew I would not win,,many poets out there are much better the me... asked earlier on to rethink the choices of the judges... not gonna say names,this person knows our arguments. |

th econtest should be called iniversal poet and be held bi monthly..nuf
said.. WILL Also Jimi should be totally in charge and judges should rotate. I am questioning no ones judging ability..I just think it would be fun for everyone to participate over time..WILL |

i agree "will" judges should rotate. it dont matter to me how often they
are cuz im new here but i got some awesome poems i wouldnt mind sharing with everyone |

what about the contestant that was lost in a storm for three and a half
days...I did not get to submit any thing on main stage day due to power outage.??? i still have hypothermia and cant even figure out who won...blah............ |
