Well, I suppose if my guy's mom had known about me she might have wanted to shoot me, but she has no idea and that is quite fine with me. Besides, I adore him and continue to treat him like a prince. No girl his age would be able to do that.

She is absolutely beautiful, and has a wonderful personality. I'm just kind of scared that she would rather have a guy that is already set, you know, one that already has a house, steady income, and everything. I'm still in high school, but i am a 2x state champion in wrestling, i'm great in school, and i joined the army and went to bootcamp this past summer.

umm...AMEN....lol.. i'm sure i will enjoy it, as soon as we actually start doing things, i mean, i went to her house last night, but nothing really happend we just sat and talked, and we both slept in the same bed, but still, nothing happend, i think i was a little intimidated by her!

you're young, and now, you've got GREAT experience... if this works out, GREAT.. if it doesn't, you've got a LOT of life ahead of you... and women like Military guys... (as you can tell from the other posts)

don't be intimidated... just be cool... the LAST thing she wants is "intimidated." If things cool off, go out with one of the other dozen's of girls that are likely after you...

That is one of the BIGGEST reasons why younger guys go for older women. The way the older women treat them cannot and never will be matched by younger women.

That is solely based on my own experience. I'm not saying there aren't younger women who don't treat their man well, but older women...damn.

it should take time when kids are involved and the both of you sshould want to know that its going to be a longer term or serious relationship before doing the family thing


I was 28 when I met my ex he was 19 our age difference had nothing to do with our splitting up
I also had three kids I was raising on my own and we took our time
so he could see I wasn't looking for a dad for my kids
the kids are grown now and they respect and care for my ex to this day.

but dating anyone with kids should always take time
