Some Dating sites are just for those 50+.

While there are no chronological age limits, there are attitudinal age limits. As you said it is active "older" people who go after those things; I would say it is those attitudinal young, older people who are looking for those things. Many older people have given up on living and are no longer interested in dating, romance or chemistry. Dating sites with age limits are like going to the senior center or nursing home and looking for someone to go surfing or skiing with. You might stumble on someone someday but the chances are slim.

Neither me nor my bf are all that active (meaning sports, jogging etc). We do enjoy dancing and such.

We both were looking for chemistry, romance and dating. It wasn’t on a 50+ site either. Anyways, we found it.

Senior sites are not like a nursing home. Neither are they like senior centers.

Negative people oftentimes harder to find a match.
