Thinking we easily have fun together and enjoy the same things.

Thinking a do nothing day, just relaxing in the recliner chair in front of the fire place is just what the doctor ordered... but it sure is tough to not get up and do something. I've been fighting being sick and need a day to rest... so I need to embrace that instead of thinking and feeling I should do more.

Which could be exactly why you get sick so often, to make you slow down and take time for yourself.
From what you say you tend to not do that unless you are ill. So you keep pushing yourself, and do I pick up feeling guilty for not doing something?
Interesting stuff to look at, when you're feeling better of course. But maybe time to look at how you have 'organized' your life. Is it mostly doing stuff for others, and not to you, then it might be time for a change! Get hobbies, or find friends to hang out with, fun things, play time.
In a way it might all come down to self-love. Saying 'Yes!' to yourself (and thus 'no' to others.)
In any case, hope you feel better soon!

Thinking you are so right Crystal. The organization part has been on my mind in the last week... I really struggle with working full time and fitting in fun or "me time"... I go, go, go... work and household duties. As far as hobbies, I've never been one to acquire them, I tend to tire easily of what I'm doing and move on to something else. Taking care of someone's else's home adds to that feeling that I must perform at all times... totally self inflicted btw!

Thinking it's time to re-evaluate my priorities and add a little "me time" into the equation. I don't like being sick... having a do nothing day simple for enjoyment would be so much better!

Thank you Crystal flowerforyou

You're welcome. I got this thick book (almost 4") on what's behind ailments & diseases. It's got 1300 different ones in it. Kind of like what I believe Louise Hay has out too? Although I don't know how many diseases she discusses.
I got the book in 1,5 yrs ago when I got some money for Christmas as it's quite expensive. Not something you use very day, but very handy to have!
There is a reason for each ailment, even when you tend to break things often or trip regularly and so on.

As for hobbies, I'm like that too that I lose interest fast. But I got a variety of things I like to do, all creative though. Painting, writing, drumming, gardening, card readings etc. If I had to be a full-time author / painter / musician I'd get bored out of my mind real easily. I have the same thing with a job, lol. I need a challenge and at the very least work at my level, for which they ask diplomas I ain't got.
For a while I have thought of becoming a painter. But it not me. I'm not 'just' a painter and to focus solely on that... not fulfilling.
The same with writing. I was thrilled when my book got published right away. And yes I want at least the 2nd one in the series published. But when I had to edit my book I had to be busy with it almost 24/7. My fingers began to ache, it was horrible.
Then it dawned on me that I wouldn't want to be a full-time author. Not fulfilling.
I need variety.
Telling you that as you may recognize it.
What helped me was the insight that I have personal goals and dreams, like painting & writing. More like hobbies. But they're not my calling, why I incarnated this life. My soul calling is different, the other things are just fun and pleasurable. Also an outlet.
Realizing that was such an eye-opener AND a relief!
Then in the oracle deck I got in last week, Work your Light oracle cards (SO gorgeous!!) there's a card "Pleiades, double mission". The message is exactly what I wrote above: Some souls incarnate for more than one thing. They have their own soul journey AND a mission to help raise the vibration on the planet.
When I drew that card I was awed.
Maybe you can relate to it :)

It is a bit like "Hotel California", isn't it! You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave, hihi.

Yes I can relate! On some level I'm still trying to figure that out... or perhaps more honestly thinking my soul journey and mission should be something more than what I believe it to be. I have an idea of what it is... the reading my former boss did last year really opened my eyes to that and helped explain a lot of what I've found through my own quest. I think part of the problem is once you know what your calling or mission is, what then... how do I do that. For instance... if it were to help raise the vibration.. to be the light... how do you go about being that light?

I think I'm complicating it by thinking I have to do something to be what I already am slaphead Hahaha... holy cow I'm laughing out loud right now.

Maybe it's as simple as just being... continuing to raise the vibration within and embrace the love I have within so that it can emanate outward to touch others.

That in itself can be enough, but some of us have and feel a specific calling. For me this has to do with the Divine masculine & feminine energies. Helping to bring in balance & harmony on the planet concerning that. Then I had to think of how? I could've gone for companies as it is much needed on the work floor, or go for individual coaching for both genders and so on.
I felt most drawn though to work with women only -at least for now- and in a group setting yet individual as they work on their own things by themselves. How much they get out of the course depends on their own input. The group setting often helps a lot as they learn from each other ("I'm not the only one!!"), encourage & compliment one another --> sisterhood (YAY!).
I was somehow Divinely guided to do this in English, not Dutch, which kind of surprised me at first. But when I'd started with courses I realized that by using English I was reaching a lot of women in the Middle-East and Asia, where the empowerment of women is sky-rocketing. These women are SO driven because in their culture they're still suppressed and yet they want to get ahead. Often very intelligent, learned women.
That's why I was 'steered' by the Cosmos to do it in English. Funny how these things go.
In spite of all that, I still don't feel this is exactly 'it'. I think something else will come out of it, it's just a stepping stone.

It also took me years to get clear what I 'had' to do. Decades ago I thought it was being in the OR. When I was around 40, I began to see how that was NOT my calling.
Maybe you can find a book that can help with finding your Soul calling/life path? I found such a book years ago, sheer coincidence that I stumbled upon it in the library.
Maybe just ask Spirit to give you clear signs that you can understand that make clear what your calling is. Spirit will help you, like they guided me to find that book, hihi.

Wow, that's what I'd love to do!! If I'm really honest, I see the empowerment courses I do now really as an extra or a stepping stone. If I think of money not being an issue and what I'd then do, it's EXACTLY that!
I SO want to travel and speak for groups. Spread wisdom, inspire, help people get empowered, connect people etc.
Then I lose my confidence by thinking, "But what do I tell them?"
But I can really see myself do that. It's what would make me SO happy! I get stuck at the 'how' 'when' 'where' 'what' level. In short: ego chit ohwell

I can see you doing that too Crystal... You'd be so good at that.

Being on Youtube, you're bound to get more recognition. I've heard of groups or organizations hosting someone to come and speak or do a workshop. They generally pay for all travel expenses... Maybe that could be a possibility for you? smile2

Cool! I made one last week but the snow was crunchy on top so it didn't turn out well, lol. I'm home sick with strict orders to relax, lol... sucks cuz the snow is perfect for that today.
