I got that message a while back, so I messaged the man and he never returned my message.

That is a messed up option.

i have been getting them for a while but they have all been uhm fake people , so never really bothered me (bad Dat) , but someone popped up and there (just by there pic) looked like they could be real (couldnt tell off line atm)

and funny i just sent them an email asking if they used it
and then came here

I read the Man's profile and was sure he was real. Unfortunately this sites keeps profiles for years , when members don't deactivate but go dormant.
Not good for those who are actually searching for a mate on here.

That's been happening to me too and since I know I never chose them I assume they have some way of overriding it.

i am very used to seeing and ignoring those
as well as that is just someone that has check marked you

what i am not used to is the box below showing someones pic and then it says

i never checked marked anyone .... how is it a i want to meet , when i never clicked on it

If correct if they say yes it may still generate the message.. Not sure unless it is a glitch due to the last time the site went down..

Will bring it to Keith's attention to pass it to the IT guy..

^ that is one way , and very common , i am well versed in ignoring that

I used to check the mutual matches to see who they were in the hope that maybe some of them were people I might message. But no, all were half my age and from places that either don't exist, or are thousands of miles away. Now I don't bother to check them.

Datwasntme~~ I understand what you were saying for I don't check them anymore either but once in a great while but I have only gotten that message on the ones I actually checked..

The link to this thread was passed on to Keith to have the IT Guy look at it.. They may have changed it when they made changes lately not sure..

I get those matches too. had three 26 year olds. I just deleted, but its WRONG. Something Fishy in Denmark.

If you check the 'matches' part you will see people who have taken a liking to you and indicated that they would like to be a match with you. Those who are clearly inappropriate are not seriously interested and can safely be ignored - or reported if they have broken the rules.

You can only have a 'mutual match' if you like someone who also likes you - hence 'mutual'!

is why i was filing out the bug report
cause i didn't check i want to meet anyone , let alone what seams like (guessing) new accounts popping up and saying its a Mutual Match when i know i didn't click anythen

Another hook along the same lines as not being searchable without a completed profile and getting hammered with messages!
