This vote was only a few months ago, not sworn in yet? He was sworn in 2005 was he not? Why would they be voting on a 2008 defense act in 2004? This list is OFFICIAL SENTATE RECORD;^]

uhhhh maybe we are talking about 2 different lists here, Bubba. The whole point is that he COULD NOT vote...2002. Since then he has made it clear that he is opposed. There is no question about his stance.

He had the position and ability to vote no on action against Iran & he didn't vote at all. This was NOT the Iraq bill;^]

Gimme a break, the fact is, while Obama goes on about how he didn't vote yes to go into Iran, which is a speech he's made several times on the campaign trail, the fact is he didn't vote on the bill at all, out of choice for fear of making a bad political decision. He had the voice and kept silent when it counted. That is a FACT;^]

Scary thing is that the bill passed, we could be in Iran tomorrow & the no shows only empowered it;^]

Wrong answer. The correct answer is there should be a referendum. Hmmm? Now, time for a more concrete topic. Shall we discuss the "holy war" syndrome?

What's more concrete than choosing not to vote with an official senate record? And what's a holy war got to do with it?

Due you missed it...it was an ammendment. What am I going to do with you? En the whole Iranian thing is another story. A Bush SNAFU! One I would take a tahiti-where-the-girls-dont-wear-tops vacation until I were elected because it WILL get screwed up until then!

It was an ammendmant the same as the Iraq bill was an amendmant, giving BUSH the authority to make a decision on the matter. Did you read the bill?;^]

Yeah well....he is one of the few not only educated but manages to think for himself on occasion more in relation to what is best for the people. EN his wife would make a great first lady. She has what it takes, as well. Internationally, he would be very good for us. En for the guy that questions me...en thinks Hilary has internationally backing....you do not get out much either. Sure, the world would love to have Hilary in. Then we would really be f%^&ed!
