I want to but it's too much work for me. Yes, it is a lot of work ! Only One house in my block has lights out and that's my next door neighbor, he had a woman helping him decorate. |

I have an olive bush in the front yard that I prune to not get over 1.50m. Maybe I'll put sweet li'l lights in that. I've never done that, but that would be cute :)
I don't like over the top lit up houses, esp not if it's horribly bright. As for the rest, it's indoors. Not too much, just enough to give the house an extra homely, warm feeling, and of course a Christmas vibe. |

My neighbor man added a Hugh blow up Snowman Yesterday, to all the other things he has, which are, small Santa and raindeers, lights on trees and fence.
That Snowman is about 20 Foot . But some neighborhood kids like to go by and look He is single but some older people go all out in decorating Yards . The retailers like those Sales. |

No offense, but those are times I'm SO glad I don't live in America, hihi.
I'd hate all that over the top chit and way too many bright lights or some 6 meter tall blow up thing right next door. Unless there's plenty of space in between housing, but I wouldn't be amused by other ppl's light & view pollution, esp not with Christmas when I want things to look nice and homely. Again, no offense, just cultural difference. But seriously, don't people end up having arguments over these things? |

Decorating is very common in the Best of neighborhoods in the US.
Some people drive around. Just to see the homes decorated. Not me! I prefer just a wreath on the door and nice homey decorations inside myself. Many Neighborhoods have plenty of yard to work with. |

Even though I don't go over the top, I enjoy driving around and seeing other peoples homes all decorated. When my kids were little we made it a tradition to make hot cocoa and go see the Christmas lights. They loved it.

Yes River! I did more things like that, with my sons, when they were children.

Nice... it's fun. When I went down to the town of Estes last week they had the whole downtown area lit up. It was beautiful.

I'm thinkin', maybe LED strobe lights on the roof this year.
Santa will be disoriented, the sleigh will crash, Donner and Blitzen will fill up both freezers. |

I'll pay for shipping if you send me some |
