What is important to You?

Intelligence is the most important to me. But of course mutual attraction has to be in place first. And at least some common interests, like sword knitting and plastic bottle juggling.

1. Communicate Effectively
2. Values Honesty and Integrity, possessing both
3. Has Healthy Self-Esteem
4. Has the ability to make her own decisions and the intelligence to make the right choices.
5. Emotionally Stable
6. Treats others with respect
7. Has good reflexive personal hygiene
8. Imaginative
9. Proactive Lifestyle
10. Thinks Positively

These 10 qualities I look for apply to anyone that is my friend.
There are many other qualities as well, including being trustworthy, able to commit to and dedicate oneself to the relationship, that hold a higher value the more intimate the friendship becomes.

Most of these markers can't be gleened over a TCP/IP connection and require actual time together to make that determination.
Few people actually possess all of these qualities and may remain in the "friends zone" because of that.
The 'right one' for me will possess most of these qualities consistently over time.

When I choose a partner for a closely relationship, the most important thing for me is about feelings. If I love you, I wouldn' t care about your character shortingcomings, I will spoil her very much.
