There are many other qualities as well, including being trustworthy, able to commit to and dedicate oneself to the relationship, that hold a higher value the more intimate the friendship becomes. Most of these markers can't be gleened over a TCP/IP connection and require actual time together to make that determination. Few people actually possess all of these qualities and may remain in the "friends zone" because of that. The 'right one' for me will possess most of these qualities consistently over time. |
