short. my last two weren't even that long, like an hour, and it was still too hard.

i have been in both, to me it wouldnt matter as long as we could get along well and understand where were comming from....

short...but I know many people who have successful long relationships...most are planning on moving closer...marrying...and the like...however I would at least like to meet a guy that was short distance but if we had a very promising relationship and one of us had to be away for awhile as long as it wasn't a permanent thing...

Within 250 miles (4 or so hours drive) I can manage. Down the street works even better. But the long distance thing and 2 times a month, not for me. if i have a sweetheart i want to be close to her. I'm not "clingy" but have to have that "cuddlin time"

I've had a "long distance relationship" where the distance between us was about an hour's drive so we only saw each other about once a week.
I consider this to have been my most successful relationship, though. It lasted 16 months and she and I had a great time together. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. However, I still think short distance relationships are better for obvious reasons of convenience. |

The distance shouldn't really matter if you care about each other..You should be able to work SOMETHING out..I've had long distance relationships before and I was just as torn up about their ending as I would be with a short distance one.
