I'm sitting in the NY bus station. Downstairs closes for 2 hours so we are all cramped upstairs waiting with no bathrooms.

I went outside and thought it was daylight. Everything is all lit up and it's really cool! I have a sitting companion. A very nice ederly lady. We were a few of the lucky ones to get a chair.

New York City has some extremely rude people working. Guess they have a lot of weirdos they deal with so it's almost understandable... Almost!

The lobby is all lit up with Christmas decorations and holiday music is playing.

My lady friend gave me the heads up on the closing downstairs so I was able to get plenty to drink and eat. Only catch is that there's no bathrooms Ya gotta walk to a nearby place to get relief, lol

The adventure continues and I'm enjoying meeting new people.

The trip is going well, I'm sleeping through this part of it.

Guess I have the local bus that stops at several locations. Just left New Haven, CT.

I believe Providence Rhode Isand is next. Once I have gone through Rhode Island I'll have been in every New England state

Cool! you're making headway. Still got a good bus I take it?

The bus is okay. It's an hour late again so no braks along the way and no food.

But that's fine, I have to change busses in Boston, I might have time to get something.

I hope so, can't live on almonds..

I have a chocolate chip cookie from when we stopped last night. It's a jumbo one

ya cant live on nuts and junk.. lol

Got to put phone down a bit. can't feel my hand...

Lol, I had a lunchable at 2am, just before the downstairs closed. I was going to get more after we were able to get back downstairs but the bus line was filling up and I was having enough trouble hauling my stuff so hurried and got in line.

Then the bus got delayed

This is always bad time for travel, during the Holidays.

Yep! But I survived and enjoyed some of it and met some pretty good people. They out weighed the arses by far.

so i get to the bus station ahead of the bus.
the bus pulls up and she gets out
she walks up to me drops her bags at my feet
and proceeds to crawl into the luggage compartment of the bus
