Unless I am missing something(s) this site seems useless. For example, it asks if I am interested in xyz, abc or whoever without having provided access to ANY info about them, especially age and location. In one case the 'match' is the other side of the Atlantic. Also, I thought the site said it does not pester for money, It does, at every stage.

I suspect you are missing something then, friend.
You can specify which country you want to search in using the search page.
I am just using the mingle2 website and have never been hassled for cash at any point.
In my experience it is totally free, easy to find exactly the type and nationality I want, and has been very useful in my case.

I joined for free but the photos were blurred. you need to pay to get clear photos and all the info, but if you buy a year, its $5 a month, payable all at once. I just bought 3 months for $10 a month to try it.
Then you have access to SEARCH and you fill in the ages you are looking for, what country you want, and the zipcode you are in.
Nothing in this world is totally free, but it doesn't cost much to get everything you want. i am new on here, there are a lot of scammers, but you just delete them as you go. BE PATIENT. it looks like you are brand new and easily discouraged. You have to take some TIME and be patient. good luck.

I've been here a while. Never paid a dime or have been harassed to pay. On my searches i list the distance from my set location. And the age groups i wish to search.

I do nog use the match system so i have no need to see the faces of those who matched me. It does show their age, location, about me and interest section. (If they bothered to fill it out. ) if i actually go into the match section and do it.

Have patience and spend some time in the forums.

Nobody is forcing you to stay. Isn't Torbay a nice retirement town? Surely there are some attractive widows and divorcees there? Shut off your computer and go play some shuffle board!
