I know there is a lot of great men on here,and I'm not saying men are jerks just that I had a couple.But when you first get together it's all the sweet things and romance,am I crazy to say I want that all the time...I do believe they are out there but you have to work at it everyday and spice it up..

s2h is.....he went out last night to relax because of my kids..no comment....and instead of flowers he surprises me with 2 different kinds of coffee creamers. He did that because he was thinking of me...no other man would do that for me.

That is VERY arguable...
Men SHOW that they are more sexual and HIDE their emotional side, but on the inside are more prone to experiencing deeper emotions. Women SHOW that they are more emotional and HIDE their sexual side, but behind closed doors are waaaayyy more sexual...they enjoy sex more with the ability to have multiple orgasms and are generally kinkier, etc. I know plenty of girls with sex drives higher than that of mine.

Women and men do have different ideas of what romance is, I got a crockpot from a boyfriend and wouldn't have traded it for roses.

I haven't come across too many romantic men.....

Now for my 2 cents worth (American, can't afford Canadian). Romance is so objective. What is romantic to me might not be to another. When you find a special someone, it will all mesh.

Last weekend, my beau got all schmoopie at his work Holiday party and dragged me outside in the cold without coats and kissed me in the middle of a non-working fountain (thank you drought). I will never pass that corner without smiling...no matter what happens between us.

My girlfriend loved the fact that i'd drive up to her work and just leave a rose on her dashboard to make her smile when she got off of work...Well that was 7 years ago and she has been my wife for 4 years(we married valentines day) but now she wants to leave for some jerk it seems that what all girls want anyway...some asshole.
