I'm glad no one forgot about Punch out, for some reason that game happens to be my most favorite one of the bunch.

Punch out is da S***. That and Zelda were my first 2 games not counting the games that came with the system.

Sigh, back in those days you'd buy the system, get a few games, a gun, a powerpad, 2 freakin controllers. Nowadays you're lucky if they don't tack on extra for an AC adaptor.

Super Punch out on the snes is pretty sweet too.

NES is sooooo classic. That's why i love my Wii so much cause of the awesome virtual console. I get to play all my classics again and experience the ones I didn't have. (I was 3-8 when we had the NES and my parents didn't have much money. And another cool thing about the virtual console is that I no longer have to carry out my huge pile of games, the system, the cords, and everything else. It did take up a lot of space.

Yeah, that is one thing that appealed to me about the Wii, was how you can get access to the old classics. Very cool idea by Nintendo.

The NES. Man. I remember when I got mine. I had an Atari 2600 at the time too, so I was one lucky boy. I even got the set that included Robbie The Robot and the games Gyromite and Duck Hunt (Gun also came with the system). The memories. How many times did you guys blow into a cartridge to get it to work? Man had to have been at least a thousand or so...probably more.laugh laugh laugh I will list some games I played on the NES that were my favorite.

Super Mario Bros.
Contra
Excitebike
Ghosts N' Goblins
Nintendo Baseball
RC Pro AM
Double Dribble
Duck Hunt
Super Mario 2 & 3
Legend of Zelda
Track N' Field

I am sure I will think of more.

I loved those games, but my top games would have to be:
Metal Gear
Operation Wolf
Silent Service
Mega Man
Contra
Kirby
Batman

So many game so little memory left of those days. I remember almost passing out a few times trying to get a game to work. And if that didn't work. I had a big bottle of alcohol and cotton swabs sitting next to the tv. Man did those games get dirty.

I still have mine sitting in my room. I play it from time to time along with the numerous other systems I kept over the years.

i think i remember Milon's Secret Castle.i know there's alot of games that i used to play and i'm forgetting about.

i miss the days of going into the video store while my mom was renting movies and she would let me and my brother rent 1 game each.my brother usually made me get TMNT because it was 2 player and then he would pick out a 1 player game for himself grumble
