Look I know this is a poem that I wrote but.... there is so many that don't read the poems section and there is a message behind this one. Please take the time to read and remember at this time of year there are so many things we can do even if we don't have the money there are things we could donate as well.




“Littler Girls Plea”

As I watched the little girl on Santa’s knee.
As she looked up at him I heard her plea.
Santa will you please bring my Daddy a job.
For all we have eaten lately is corn on the cob.

You don’t have to bring me any toys.
They always make to much noise.
You see my Daddy needs his more.
So he can go buy things at the store.

That way my Mommy want have to cry.
And no longer would they have to deny.
When we are hunger and want more food.
Then my mommy would be in a good mood.

For we would have our tummy’s full.
And I could have a coat made of wool.
That would keep me warm when I go outside.
I promise I would never throw it aside.

And if my Daddy had a job it would be warm.
And safe inside when it does storm.
Last night I got very cold.
And my Daddy had to hold.

Me, cause I was so cold with no heat.
Only cover I had was just one sheet.
So you see Santa please help my Daddy take care.
Of us, last night I sent God a prayer.

And today I ask you for help too.
My little brother has the flue.
So if you can help us with these things.
Is there some how you can pull some strings.

I know it is a lot to ask for.
And others need more.
If only a few will give.
Then so many more can live.

No I did not hear this but at this time of year you know it is sad to know a child may be cold or hunger. So I beg of you all either pick a childs name from the angel tree and give them a gift of love. Give the homeless old blankets no longer being used as well as coats or sweaters. Just a little gester will go a long way. Even donate can goods to the shelters. NO matter how we are there is something we could all give and the smiles you receive in return I promise will be well worth the effort in the end.

I know there are things in my closet that I can give to those in need.....and I make my daughter do the same.....if we all would do just a little, things would be nicer all around....

iM going through my closet too and giving my clothes to the church where they have a shop downstairs, kinda like a salvation army but cheaper.

Just think if everyone donated just 3-4 cans of food to a shelter how much they would have to feed the homeless those that have lost there jobs they could help so many more.

Or find a family in need and have neigherbors all donate something they may need and take it to them.

And even tho it is not food DON'T FORGET THE ANGEL TREE THIS YEAR TO GIVE A CHILD A GIFT OF LOVE AND PUT A SMILE UPON THERE FACE. THERE IS NOTHING MORE PRECIOUS THEN A CHILD'S SMILE!!
