Topic: Would it be easier to date the ex? | |
---|---|
I haven't married yet,so I can realize what's feeling of dating ex.In my opinion, passing have been passed, let passing go and face with a new life.If I am still single after I divorced,I will spend all my time to match a new partner. If I have found a new partner,I may put all my love to her.

Sometimes relationships don't end on bad terms. And sometimes even when they end on good terms, it's neither prudent nor feasible to go back. It depends not only upon the past but also the present.
For instance, I have 2 ex-gfs that I might consider dating again if the circumstances were right. But the others? No. Not a chance. And 1 of the 2 that I might reconsider might not even want to revisit having a relationship. So I won't approach her with it. If she wants it, she has ways to track me down to let me know. Until then, I keep my distance, and move on with my life. |

Until then, I keep my distance, and move on with my life. This, I totally agree with. There were relationships that didnt work out for many reasons, many in my youth were because of small immaturities which over the decades may or may not any longer be an issue. I would warn any woman getting involved with my daughters dad because he had and I know for a fact still has serious emotional troubles. I would encourage, however, a woman to go out with my son's father as our only real problem at the time was trust due to his infidelity in the service of his country, but we were both very young at that time and that is not the kind of thing I think would be an issue with him anymore in a committed relationship. He has proposed uprooting his life to move across country and see what chemistry we might have even. I dont know how that will work out, but he does have the type of heart and love for life that is attractive, and his love for his kids is also a positive sign in a man. HE is a good guy, even if he did not turn out to be the RIGHT guy for me. |

Sometimes I think it might be, then remember everything he put me through and come to my senses.

O no not in this lifetime. There is a reason why she is an ex. Sure she is the mother of our son, but that is it. Whatever I was feeling for her has long since died. I didn't like the way she denigrated me in front of our son and that was against the judge's orders too, but I let it go until the stress level got too much for me to handle. Stress is a powerful enemy and the only way to defeat it is to understand it and why it is happening.
