I saw the guy that's replacing me last night. He said he's ready to jump in any time, so if I need to leave even earlier he's okay with that.

Possibly, although then I would probably get docked in pay. Which might be fine. My boss told me last night in front of her husband that I could have had time off if I wanted it. They would have had the journalist guy help out. Funny how she doesn't say that kind of stuff to me in private.

The time I had the journalist guy help she told me it cost too much in overtime to pay him, so try not to take anymore time off. The other day she said this is a 7 day a week job and not everyone can handle it. She constantly talked about cutting hours with the hourly because it was slow.

She constantly told me she and her husband can do it, so others can too... although they had the journalist guy helping every night of the week from 4 to 8 so had evenings off. Then she turns around and says I could have taken time off if I had wanted.

No.... I think I will just grin and bear it for the next week. I know her type and the fact that I am leaving in a week means I can be worked to death the upcoming week... I'll get to breathe after I leave

Best I can do is what I've been doing the last couple days... Just call her and say "I'm going for a walk, I'll be back shortly" ... if she doesn't like it, she can fire me

Had a blast today! The Island was crowded and I would have had to ride with a big group of people if I went horseback riding.

So I rented a horse and buggy, and got to go out on the trails myself.

It felt totally natural and like I've been doing it my whole life. I definitely need to go some place where there's horses.

Yes Kat, I went out today. It was the first time I've done that, I had a really fun time.

It was, I didn't trot him a lot because there were a lot of hills going up and down. My horses name was Tom, he rode good.
