Do you feel like you were sheltered growing up, as a child, from preschool through high school ? Sheltered. from World events and culture differences in others. This thread iis referring to as a Child . Not a Adult .

I was wrapped in cotton wool by my parents and spoilt by one of my grannies. Only child btw

No.. we saw world events on tv,.. went through desegregation, and ran a muck in the neighborhood as kids playing.

Sheltered to the core....never knew about the world out there...kinda creates a negative impact as an adult.when u r left to tend on yr own

I was shelteed by my parents through school, however, after high school. I started working then got married to a nice hard working young man. I experienced a lot during marriage and divorce. I moved up in the Work force , went to college and got educated in Life experiences.

I think I was a sheltered child, but not from world events. Looking back, I was the youngest and the only one in the family who was born with medical issues and I had to go to a lot of doctors. I think my parents kept me away from doing some of the same things my brothers and sister did because they didn't think I'd be able to take care of myself.

I was wrapped in cotton wool by my parents and spoilt by one of my grannies. Only child btw I was wrapped in swaddling clothes and lain in a litter box. I wasn't spoiled. I just smelled that way.

How did you support yourself at 13? ask me no Que's and i will tell ya no lie's : ) odd jobs , mow yards , clean houses , fix cars , etc etc etc was a lot better then my abusive drunk sperm donor father
