This is a poem I wrote just for the love of my life. A while back I wrote a poem for myself about the oath I was going to give myself...well now I have written my oath for her.


My Oath To You

I wrote a poem for myself
How I was going to be positive,
Now, I'm writing one for you
To give you all that I have.

No need to be jealous or scared
My heart will always remain true,
You will gain my trust and respect
In everything that I do.

There will be no others
You're the only one in my eyes,
My oath to you will be
Pure in heart, with no disguise.

Take me as I am
For my love will always be strong,
I will always treat you right
There won't ever be any wrong.

I can't believe my heart
In the size that it has grown,
With the love I feel for you
And all that you've shown.

So my oath to you, my love
Is to always remain true,
Keeping you in my heart
And always loving you.
