Why did big bang happen??What caused the big bang to take place??

I'm not convinced the Big Bang ever happened.

1. its a misnomer - there is no sound in space hence no 'bang'
2. it started really tiny ... like sub-atomic in size so 'big' is also a misnomer

3. it started cos of what the 2nd post said

I think there could have big bangs, not just one...I think the universe is eternal, always been here, always be here...the lives of planets, stars and even galaxies when destroyed just breed for new creations...ever think about when a black holes is full? Would it blow up? How would that compare to the big bang?

Can there be intelligent creatures beyond Earth??

Big Bang????? Hmmmm is that how the universe was created? What caused that one tiny atom to exist in the first place???? How can something be created from nothing?????? Ultimately the answer God. Science refuses to acknowledge that but the two go hand in hand.

mathematically, the answer is yes...the milky way itself has over 100 billion stars in it, and it's estimated there's trillions of galaxies... But since the universe is so vast, we may never know...

i'll just give you a little clue why there is males and females? if the big bang was real how did the first creatures on earth split into two different genders ?

what i do find funny though , is they are only really looking for planets like are's for life (not to hot , not to cold and must have water)
but whats to say that they are based on the same things we are , there might be ones out there that live on a cold planet and breath nitrous
or are plant like and breath carbon dioxide , or be fur covered and eat cats (David), or live under a thick cover of ice and never come up out of the water

weak correlation...what makes you think an animal split? Nature is really beyond our comprehension right now, the DNA and genes carry so much information we can't understand it all...one of the things we do understand is the need for a male and female to pass their genes and DNA to the next generation...some species can reproduce asexually, but the offspring are all perfect little clones of the female, meaning no genes or dna was blended to make the offspring a slight bit different than the parents...that's what evolution is, trying to make the offspring better than the parents...that's why nature needs pairing ..
