This seems to be true when talking about open borders, funding the military, gun control, and many other issues. I don't think the left realize what would happen if they got their way on most of the issues. For instance, everyone isn't coming to this country for a better life. We've had thousands killed by terrorist.

And we have ( and continue to have) countless amounts killed by illegal alien gangbangers, not only from Mexico by from many other Latin countries that use Mexico as the gateway. Open those doors wider and the carnage will explode

And terrorists are extremely smart and organized. They have trouble flying in because we have the skies pretty much covered. But do you think for one minute that they will not start using Latin America as their path and come in thru Mexico. Just walk across the boarder. Do you think that Latin American countries will stop them. With all their own internal troubles they are going to concentrate on not letting terrorists get into America?

I think liberals need to be protected from themselves because they aren't capable of seeing the bigger picture. They see themselves as underprivileged and want more poor people to make themselves not seem so bad in a country known for opportunity
