Do you believe in herbal treatments as a replacement for traditional medicines?
I mean, do you believe a herbal product can truly function as good as a traditional medicine? |

Do you believe in herbal treatments as a replacement for traditional medicines?
Not as a replacement but can be an alternative for some medicines for some conditions. Vitamins and herbs have benefits and there are conditions caused by deficiencies. http://anrvitamins.com/glossary/#Vitamins Overview

Example: GINGER ROOT (zangiber officinale) The rhizome of ginger is used not only as a flavoring for drinks like ginger ale but has also been used as an herbal remedy for asthma and coughs related to inflammation or allergies. There are over 80 species of ginger, historically found in China, Japan, Australia and Hawaii. Ginger Root (Zangiber Officinale) reduces the risk of a heart attack by reducing blood platelet "clumping". It thins the blood and stimulates circulation and blood flow. It reduces spasms, cramping, indigestion, nausea, coughs, sinusitis, and sore throat. It fights inflammation, and cleanses the colon and aids digestion by relieving gas and bloating. It helps with arthritis, phlebitis, and muscle soreness, by reducing pain and swelling. It has been used for heartburn, ulcers, impotence, intermittent claudication, and motion sickness. Ginger Root increases energy levels. If someone has a medical condition, it won't heal or fix the problem like traditional medicines sometimes do. Herbs, help maintain the body, help prevent the likelihood of a condition, help the body heal. Traditional medicines direct treatment to specific condition where Vitamins, Minerals, Antioxidants, Dietary Fibers, Herbs, Nutritional Greens, Digestive Nutrients, Amino Acids and Special Nutrients aid the body's natural defense against disease. Disease is a condition of Dis Ease and herbs help to return the body to a condition of Ease. VITAMIN C (Ascorbic Acid) IMPORTANCE: Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) is a major and very potent anti-oxidant. It plays a primary role in the formation of collagen, which is important for the growth and repair of body tissue cells, gums, blood vessels, bones and teeth. It protects against the harmful effects of pollution; protects against infection, and enhances the immune system. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) helps protect against many forms of cancer by counteracting the formation of nitrosamines (cancer-causing substances). It protects against abnormal blood clotting and bruising, and may reduce the risk of cataracts. It aids in the treatment and prevention of the common cold and prevents scurvy. It reduces the effects of many allergy producing substances. It helps lower blood pressure; is vital for wound healing and strengthens the blood vessels. It reduces cholesterol and protects against heart disease. It aids in the production of "anti-stress" hormones. It is needed for healthy adrenal function; helps expel heavy metals and other toxic substances from the body. If you have a disease, Vitamin C won't fix it like traditional medicines and medical treatments but it helps. It also helps you from being as likely to contract some illnesses. VITAMIN C DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS: May lead to soft & bleeding gums, swollen or painful joints, slow-healing wounds & fractures, bruising, nosebleeds, tooth decay, loss of appetite, muscular weakness, skin hemorrhages, capillary weakness, anemia, impaired digestion. Most people don't know which herbs and vitamins they need according to the symptoms they experience. Plus, sometimes the symptoms experienced may not be the result of a deficiency but from something else. This is where traditional medicine becomes important. Herbs and vitamins are like a blanket fix where traditional medicine is a precision fix. The dr observes the condition, performs tests and evaluates the best medicine/procedure to alleviate the condition. As the medicine works, the dr monitors the changes to see if they are effective treating that specific person's condition. The problem is, what is supposed to happen doesn't always happen. Doctors are people. People are lazy and presumptuous. Many drs make assumptions based on their or other's prior successes. Herbs and vitamins, help reduce the likelihood of needing a dr as often. |

yes.. yes.. you can try all of the above herbs or you can just smoke a joint and eat a few cupcakes.. and you will feel great too. Never tried joints. They say that some people have a psychosis after a joint. Dissociation can stay for years after drug use or so they say. |
