First day of snow to start chilling into the winter months. Hope you all enjoyed this morning and had a great and safe day to start it off.

Have an opinion and maybe you'll agree...

Is it just me or when the snow plows do finally come out, it seems they make things worse than they do better for a while???? Between taking up all of the road, making it into slush??? Easier to drive on snow and somewhat ice then driving into the slush that pulls you to the side of the road.. anyone else feel this way????

Snow def. makes the ground look nicer being white then the deadness of the grass and other plants!

Well, being in downtown Chicago, it really doesn't look that bad. They spray and salt the sidewalks, and the roads look pretty clean from what I can see from 35 stories up. However, coming from Wisconsin, I am familiar with what you're talking about. Looks beautiful here, though...I love the snow when it's not all over the sidewalk. :D

we only got about a half inch to an inch last night! wish we would have gotten more! Not quite enough for all the fun! I think at work tonight we are gonna try to go tubing in the parking lot! We are constructing a big supercenter, and there is a nice new asphalt lot out there that needs to be broken in!

In western Maryland we had the first snow today. It is about three inches. The snow makes me want to be back in Colorado or even New Hampshire. I like snow. Here they have no use for it.

SNOW !!!!!!!!!!! YES !!!! Finally it happened here tonight around 8ish . I went out and took pics . I love snow but we only got a very light dusting , just enough to cover the ground . It has stopped now and will be all gone before I get up tommorow i'm sure but I did get to enjoy it tonight and it put me in good spirits .

I only wish it would snow here.. I'm in South Mississippi and we only see light snow here every several years!
