Can't delete it

You can't delete your details,the site won't let you,perhaps the new data protection law 2018 (GDPR) might be interested in this if we report it to them....

If you read above you can take all your details off your profile that is up to you do do so.. Just the user name stays and no one can go to the profile unless you come back and activate your account again.. Only thing you can not get rid of is your post on the forums.. Forum Admin Kristi

All the other dating sites that I have been on allow you TOTALLY delete your details so that there is no record of you. Why can't this one do it too?

Nothing stops you from deleting all your info... only the user name remains as I said.. It is set up this way so if members decide to come back you can same as many sites...

All the other dating sites that I have been on allow you TOTALLY delete your details so that there is no record of you. Why can't this one do it too? Oh there is a record of it. Most other sites keep the popular accounts as bots to keep those on the fence hanging around even though the original owner has left and no longer have access to them.
