I had to look up cost of living in Jersey. That is very high tax. I have done some research on places with cheaper tax. Alabama is cheaper than Ga but I don't really want to move there. Ga has been one of the cheaper tax areas in the past but it's changing.

you forgot to mention all of those huge multimillion dollar corporations up there that dont hardly have to pay any taxes, because their bought&paid for politicians gave them huge tax breaks, and tax cuts!!
THATS why EVERYBODY ELSE has to pay so much in taxes....cuz they are paying for the huge, multimillion dollar corporations share of them, too!!!

The deficit would be wiped out overnight, the budget would be balanced, and the country would actually have surplus if the churches were taxed on their property holdings alone.

that too!!!

but, churches are nothing more than tax exempt corporations!

that is because in a highly industrialized state like new jersey, you have LOTS of huge corporations that are using, and wearing out the civic infrastructure, and not paying taxes on it,so the PEOPLE have to make up the difference that the corporations arent paying, whereas in a more sparesly industrialized state like alabama, there arent as many large corporations,so the taxes are lower because it is spread out more evenly, and everyone is paying their fair share of it,compared to a state like new jersey.

but,the more industrialized a state becaome, the more its tax rates go up.

its not rocket science....
it is just very simple math.

if the politicians werent being bought&paid for by their corporate masters with their campaign contributions,so that the politicians could continue to stay in their seats of power on easy street, this wouldnt be the case, but they ARE,so....

you do the math.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I disagree.
A lot of churches do a lot locally , throughout the country, and the world abroad.

I wouldn't make a generalized statement that all churches are nothing more than tax exempt corporations.

A lot of churches do a lot of good things for many people.

That being said I'm sure there are some shady ones, but in general I don't believe that is the case.
At least not my experience.

just stopped a few days ago to my Verizon store to update my phone. I am terrible with them and they take a beating.

So brought my bill ( which I never look at I just pay on line) and I was shocked at the " additional charges" I am paying.

delivery tax?
state tax
line tax ?
service tax ?

and a few more. all monthly charges.

they really nail you with the unseen stuff.

I'll never go back to a cell phone company that uses contracts...at Verizon, I was paying 110 dollars a month, now I'm paying 45 for unlimited everything, taxes included, at metro PC's...

it doesn't matter where you live, the wages that are paid always amount to the same thing....if your making 20,000 a year and paying 500 a month in rent is the same as making 40,000 and paying 2000 in rent...the cost of living seems higher in New York and Cali, but the wages are reflected to it...so you won't actually be making any money...

I use about 80 gigs a month and never noticed it slowing down, even tho they say they do at 35 gigs...but it does say only during high traffic instances...

With as many Wi-Fi hotspots as there are everywhere, why would anyone want to use their data? I have mobile data turned off on my phone. That's why my bill is only three dollars a month.
