If I were you, I would give him notice to get his own policy by a certain date. If you have kids together you will be dealing with him for the rest of your life.
I got a letter from my ex today. We divorced 15 years ago. He is an *** and has the nerve to tell me to read the bible. |

Its sad that you have two kids and a broken home.
If you are paying for the insurance as the primary and the X was an add to, You can drop him, its your insurance. I'm not sure how much money it will actually save you but you now have to focus on the children's welfare first. I wish you the best. |

im struggle to decide to cut off my husband i pay for his medical and car insurance should i cancel it? Just want to make sure I understand. You say you are paying for his medical ins. Is he your husband or your X husband? Is there something medically wrong with him that holds him down? You say that he doesn't support his kids. Does he have a job to go too? What I'm getting at, If you are still married to him and he has something medically wrong with him that keeps him from being a responsible dad, then, as his wife, you should stand with him. If that means doing without something you really don't need so these things can be paid. If you are not married to him anymore and he does have something medically wrong with him. Well, you're really not responsible for him anymore. But, It's a nice thing to do for your kid's dad. But, if it were me in your shoes and he is just being a sorry dad. There is nothing medically wrong with him, he either works or he could work to help support his family. He just chooses not to, I would drop him like he's hot. I would not pay one red cent on him for anything. To me, it's a very sorry, low down man that can, but won't be a responsible dad. It's different if there is something wrong with him. |

I cannot comprehend why some guys like that cannot at least see to it that something is given to support the children. You have a decision to make. It seems he is not interested in helping his own kids so if it was me I would stop paying his medical and car insurance and put those funds towards the children.
