I wonder if we can get away with saying ASSuming without being reprimanded.

Its funny how the left can get away with these little things and yet accuses the right of saying insulting things.

I will never understand the hypocrisy, the need for Starbucks and why they believe Russian collusion influenced the 2016 American presidential elections.

I wish collusion was possible for the Canadian election and we wouldn't have Trudeau the son of a closet marxist prime minister as our prime minister.

I am not 'the left' and 'the right' are not victims. Did I misspell the word or call names? No. Like I said, maybe my keyboard got stuck.

I understand hypocrisy as a part of flawed human nature. I understand the need for Starbucks for those who crave coffee. I Believe in the possibility of Russian collusion because 12 DIFFERENT AGENCIES have confirmed russians involvement(the number may be off, I dont recall exactly, but more than one or two random for sure) and several of Trump's family and friends have been PROVEN to have been contacting Russian officials.

and people can like housewives and girlfriends can live better on their backs than working (for a paycheck) and people can live better gossiping on blogs than working(for a paycheck), its all in what you value as 'work' and what people should be able to receive from it.

the majority are not living BETTER than working folks.

wow, condescending too, who are you to value what others do

how do you know what housewives and girlfriends do? some of them have kids too.

People that blog for a living, if there is a market for them and they are earning a living, I say God bless you and congrats

Some people on welfare are living better than ordinary lets factory workers, industrial workers and even some retail workers or others in dead end jobs.

When you dont have to get up for work, take public transit or drive in rush hour traffic when its raining or snowing is a bonus for some welfare workers.

lets be realistic.

shoe on the other foot huh?

and how was it condescending?
I have been a housewife and a girlfriend. what SOME people do is not known just by outside observation, kind of the point when people make 'condescending' judgements on others who receive assistance simply because they may own items, or have an appearance that is nicer than one might expect.

yes. lets be realistic. Lets be realistic about how there really is not much MOTIVATION at all to be on welfare IF one can find a job that pays them a living wage to survive on AND has an environment and support system that will aid them to that end.

I was pretty clear from my last post, who are you to value what others do?

well, lets see when you have someone on welfare living like someone who is working earning a living wage , you dont see a problem?

No , not all welfare people are living life, this is about those that abuse the system.

I know you're going to reply back with " how do you know they are abusing the system"

And most of us will counter with" they have toys" as in material things they shouldn't be having, yes who are we to say what others should have as material possession?

well the answer, we are tax payers.

yes. lets be realistic. Lets be realistic about how there really is not much MOTIVATION at all to be on welfare IF one can find a job that pays them a living wage to survive on AND has an environment and support system that will aid them to that end.

Of course most of us are not motivated to be on welfare because we have self worth, I rather work 3 dead end jobs vs being on welfare, I rather live at home with my parents vs going on welfare

But that is me, I can say that because Im a single guy without kids, I know I cannot say that if I have young children, and that is where I believe welfare should come in , once its established that one has fallen on bad times or an abusive spouse left, died or in prison.

I think that is what welfare should be for, instead of volunteering when on welfare about an internship of some type.

Temporary welfare isn't what people get upset about. It's long term. I've watched women live off welfare and when the kids get grown they start trying to get a disabity check.

Q. when you have someone on welfare living like someone who is working earning a living wage , you dont see a problem?

A. If 'living like someone who is working' is determined only by what toys or devices they might have .. I see a HUGE problem, yes.

Q. who are you to value what others do?
A. I am a US citizen (taxpaying status is a mark of income status, not as citizen value)

You sure do get upset for someone who only got welfare temporarily. I've already said my sister in law was going on cruises while on welfare. The kids got grown so now she has back pain lol.
You need to give up the idea that tax payers are clueless. We aren't.

Michael doesn't have kids and Thomas was working 10 hour nights. He stayed awake one day to take his mom to the Dr. He said his sis was in the waiting room too. He said it was a dope Dr and they needed to come off the pain killers.

So both are on painkillers. And Michael told you about the cruise then? Must hurt to not be able to do at least as much as some welfare scum I bet.

April told me about the cruises herself. Hurt isn't the word. I would say the feeling is disgust. Thomas told me about the 4-wheelers. She would call needing a ride or her car worked on. I would hear his cursing on the way out the door to go help her.

If a person is legitimately on government welfare, they should have necessities.

Food, clothing, shelter and medical . Anything else is not a necessity

Same for families with children. Go to work and purchase other things, if you're not ligitimately disabled.

State workers in Illinois do not have to pay fair share dues.
Ruling by the Court.

This is going to be big lost in money for the Union.

Thousands may leave Union now. Chicago and downstate Illinois.

This was announced on local News today.
