When my boss came down to drop off my paperwork she said sit down, I need to talk to you.... Always makes me nervous when they say that, lol. She wanted to forewarn me about the two new housekeepers I'm getting this morning. Both have been here before so don't need training, but both are young guys who are arrogant, cocky, and will try to get out of doing the work.... they had last year's Innkeeper doing most of their job Let'em try!

Why would they rather sit you down to tell you they hired suck, instead of hire better? I wondered the same thing, lol. They hire Internationals and there were three that couldn't get their Visa's, so they contacted these boys to see if they could come rather than find someone that worked good. @ Stu... Yes, I'm the Assistant Innkeeper/Manager and supervise the housekeepers here. I don't have to deal with problems or handle them, my managers handle problems, I just report them. So they listen to me or deal with management.

Actually so far they are pretty good and working hard. So maybe I won't have a problem with them. I checked one of their rooms and found something that wasn't done correctly and they handled it well.
