Its a free site, you get what you pay for bud.

as in for upgrading,Im sure some have but yes you are right too many fakes but there are real people , you just have to weed through the crap.

Sad to say i cannot send a messages cos we need to pay first here..sad lifei thot its a free dating site.

I've been able to send/reply to messages, for free. I'm wary about "paying", though. The "Search" algorithm repeats itself, constantly, and brings up folks who haven't visited the site, for over a month. Almost never one of the "many" someone's who's supposed to be interested in me. I really don't want to pay, to see tons of responses from people outside the country........

Confused, because I "asked for a photo" from someone, and that person claimed that Mingle wouldn't do let him do that, unless I sent him one first, for safety reasons. Doesn't sound very safe, to me. :-)

site policy is ladies first to keep the ladies from getting flooded with unwanted or inappropriate photos

Due to we have a report system we ask that all members use those links available to report fake/scammers..

You can find one to the right of a members pics on their profile. And as well as the bottom of any e-mail a member has sent you. Please use those options to report issues. Those reports go straight to the Admin that handles those type of problems.


As far as the site making anyone sign up for the upgrade it is only a option if you want it the site does not force anyone to sign up..

You are allowed free e-mail and full access to the forums and to contact any member you wish.. The upgrade is for using Stealth Mod and to see Matches which might be a feature you would like but not one that is required or keep you from searching on your own..

For those that are having issues with e-mail and not being able to then you need to verify your e-mail. You must contact support in order for them to get you verified.. here is the link https://mingle2.com/welcome/contact_us

As far a women must send pictures first yes that is a feature that Mingle2 has in place due to all the nudes guys were sending..

With that being said the forums are not the place to discuss scammers/fakes we have a report system for that..
