Just put some new eyes in my van! Modern perspex lights are a pain, they go misty, I tried polishing them with some special stuff but no good |

sand them with 600 grit or finer the clearcoat them. works great. thats what i do on the ones wear the replacements are hideously expensive

I tried that and the paste, I think before I got it maybe had been near some heat. you know when you weld near glass you get speakles on it? That's how it was. A mate got me a new pair

i tried all the pastes and such, even the headlight specific coatings. none work for beans, except in the short term. those lights are factory clearcoated. when the coating looses the battle to uv and you polish. you are left with raw plastic that fogs quicker. now if you welded craters in them then yup they are done.

yep that's why i started sanding all the crud off then just spraying them with the same clearcoat i use over the base coat.
including remove and install i can usually do a pair for about 100 |

just get your panel beating buddy to do them lol. the biggest trick is getting the clear to lay down with the least orange peel
|
