What on Earth is a curved ball?

shocked

It's a baseball term ( I adore baseball sorry for confusing you)

Just how he said it, kind of a tricky ball to throw in a baseball game.

not a curved ball but a curve ball
it is a type of baseball pitch
the pitcher throws the ball and includes enough english that it does actually curve on the way to the catcher

Pump, how could you? Have you seen the thread on activity partners? surprised
rofl

umm, I kind of glanced at it I think..It seems I missed something?blushing

off to go try and find it tongue2

I'll tell you a secret, keep it to yourself.
Year's ago when I joined I'd see someone and just fav them, if they were interested they'd say hi and thanks for adding me as a favourite!
If you don't hear from them then you know they are not interested! winking
Lazy I guess but endless messages saying hi gets boring to laugh

Actually that works, great thinking there. rofl

Not sure if your joking with me but...As to activity partner threads... I found 2 and I'm sure there's many more but all I got from them was what an activity partner is..which I already know tongue2
Is there a thread that says how to deal with messages without ignoring them or coming off conceited and ungrateful? blushing

No, I don't think there is,
Let them think what they like laugh

No, I wasn't joking, I think the one I meant is the one you found.
I'll start a new one, uuuummm, what shall I call it?
I know, how about "ungrateful activity partners"rofl

While I think the thread maybe needed and you would be doing everyone on mingle a favor by getting it out there, can say I dislike the title. scared It seems somewhat negative. laugh

Really if you put activity partners in the name it will be locked for duplicate. 100%

I have been ignoring, but the natives are becoming hostile even with filtering noway

you're right, that's exactly what it is. I put that on my profile so no expectations I guess. Just even nice to have someone to hang out with.
Good friends are hard to come by even..

My problems is answering the messages. When i ignore I'm rude. I answer Im rude...How do you handle this?
