Well he wouldn't date me since I was still married... He picked me up from the court house with the final papers, then we went on a date.

I had my mind set on moving to Florida, so we only dated for a short time. Guess if he really was a keeper, he would have asked me to stay or followed me there

I've been single for over 4 yrs so guess I'm used to it by now. I just couldn't figure out why divorce was taking so long as most of the people I knew got their divorces in a year. But now that's it's finally happening I just want to celebrate.I'm not sad and have no regrets but the only way to explain it is by saying it's a sort of release. Feeling happy though

It's nice to know that you all 'get' where I'm coming from. Did wonder if I was weird feeling that way. I'm quite excited about the future now. I'm already looking for a house to buy and will move away from where I am. Coincidentally, my ex only lives half a mile from me but I'm moving to be closer to my daughter and her family. Gotta go now and sign the final papers now so will say bye for now. Pisces, hope everything goes to plan and you have a safe journey
