I have received word that my grandmother has passed

While I totally understand that this is an unavoidable part of the Life experience... and was not totally unexpected.. it is still a time of deep sorrow.

I ask those that are willing or feel moved to do so, to please send out a prayer for comfort & peace, for my family. My grandfather, mother, aunts, cousins and siblings are taking this VERY hard

Sorry to hear about your grandmother.

I know you will miss her terribly. I miss my grandma.

I only got to know my mothers mom as my dads mom passed away in

1940 when my dad was 18 years old. My grandma passed away in

1984 and made a great impact on my life, and my paternal

grandmother did also, even when I didn't know her. I look so

much like her that it is unreal. But grandmothers are so

special and loved and we will always hold them dear in our

hearts and she is in yours and always will be and great memories

too. God Bless you and your family and I hope you can find

comfort at this bad time. Just remember you have many friends

here willing to be here when you need us. Take care.

As I type this, tears streaming down my face... these are tears of thanksgiving and appreciation, for the love and warmth each of you have sent is wrapped around me now... and I want you to know how grateful I am for each of you.

Yes... the physical loss of a person does not erase the memories nor does it erase them from our lives. If anything, it makes them that much sweeter, albeit bittersweet in the begining.
