Inoculations will be cheaper there if they do them close to where your going it maybe useful to look into that before you go. Surge protector for electronic equipment. Things may not charge due to different power outputs, so it maybe useful to have a portable charger for your phone, which should charge at a lower current or just buy a phone their. Also if your going to use a phone, your probably better just getting a sim card their, it will probably be much cheaper.

How about the Philippines? I had thought about a holiday in the Philippines, but reading our UK Travel advice I was put off. They say most of the South is under Martial Law with curfews in some areas, and the rest of the country is declared a "State of national emergency on account of lawless violence". I have decided a revisit to Taiwan is probably my best option, but I would like to have visited the Philippines, maybe in the future and in better times. |

The tourist areas are very safe . The only set back would be the weather. It is so hot nowadays. Our beaches are the best and so is our hospitality. Glad to know you’re considering our country to visit sir. |

The weather is the same in Taiwan right now, I prefer to visit in October time when it is not so hot, not really a beach person I am very touristy taking in the sights. I hope to visit Manila sometime in the future, and travel a little to the north to see some of the beautiful scenery. I never realised the islands further north, the Batanes Islands were only 45 miles (70 kilometres) from Taiwan until I looked to have a holiday in the Philippine, the north certainly looks very beautiful. |

You have researched well the sights there are breathtaking and those months are the ideal considering the weather. Enjoy Taiwan sit |
