surely you all now heard about this wonderful yet creepy tale of a cursed town and tha characters happening arround them,
many on this site im sure watched tha movie by now,
but if you didnt know before,this is acually based on tha first game on tha Playstation Sony Computer Entertaiment Console, and then spawned on PS2 and other consoles and PC, now these days there are comics and a Movie(as i mention earlier)
and as this saga now keeps goin as (final fantasy saga keeps on goin) tha new game is on PSP(playstation portable) which is a prequel of tha first game, and with dat being said and playing it for such a while, i tell you its just like tha predecessor, its creepy , earie and still makes me want to have nightmares and see things, even hear things,
also for tha next gen consoles a Silent Hill 5 is now in tha making,
so Silent Hill has come along way and i hope they are to spawn another movie, being a fan i did enjoy it

anyone else like Silent Hill?

and for people who always wanted to know about this saga,
you need to play tha games to really experience tha feel and sadness stories and evil themes of this demented yet beautiful saga

Wasnt a bad flick..But if your a fan of the game.The changes made in the film were just too much.Still a great looking film.

The only thing I can say is the movie and the games kicked ass. They are some of the scariest games ever and the movie, even though it went off a little from the story line, it was bad ass too. STEELERS RULE BABY

I like the games, the movie was cool but not better than the games. Heard Silent Hill 5 was coming to PS3 and all.

The games, especially the first, are killer.

The movie? It is good, and when you first hear the siren and all goes dark, you just get that whole "game" vibe inside of you. Seeing Pyramid Head is cool. But the movie also did lack some things that held it back from being as good as it could have been. Plot starts off pretty good, but near the end it can leave you going "Ummm. Okay1". A couple of the death scenes are really gross and done well. All in all, not a bad film and is one of the better video games that has been made into a film.

so of course tha plot was changed
like it didnt really have tha whole deeper story of alessa and how she was born to be evil and about tha cult and tha whole town cursed
however it showed elements of tha game
and tha ending was sad ,kinda like they didnt want to make a "good" ending for tha movie hehe

The movie about Silent Hill isn't good ( like my english sorry! ) .The movie doon't affraid me the scenarist has stollen the scenarii of the 1er Silent Hill and the 3e videogame so no original( and the realisator is French so... I'm sorry!).The realisator is the only personn who is playing in this movie and I don't like to watch an personn to play in a videogame...

Personally, I loved the game to death. I played it through all of it's endings, but I mearly rented the game... I should have bought it, but I was a kid when I played it. Ah well.

The movie was great, if you ask me. It was my first blueray purchase actually, aside from taladega nights which came with teh ps3. I thought that it was extremely entertaining, even if the changes to the story made it very much different than the game. I still had fun.

Little tidbit of info too.... The movie was also losely based upon a town semi local to me (Centrallia, PA), a town still burning to this day from an underground coal fire. I think it started in 1968 if I remember correctly.

honestly, i didnt like the film, but i am a huge fan of the games.

I've beaten all the games except for SH4, because I lost interest in after a few hours, it didn't hold me as well as the other games (the monsters looked half-assed, and the story was horrible as far as I got).

The new game on PSP looks good tho, wish I had a psp! XD
