i can smell a user/asshole/scammer a mile away...and yeah i agree the internet is probably not the best place to meet a life partner, sure the pool is larger, but figure in distance and not being able to look at the other person's expressions, gestures to get clues about them...and you can't tell if the chemistry is there...but on the other hand if the parties are being honest you would get to know them from the inside out. for me it's a social outlet...kids so i can't go out on a date but i can still have interaction w/adults and have some fun while doing housework, cooking, hanging out w/my kids...k i'm done babbling now...maybe
