Maybe you should ask yourselves why you're so puckin violent with each other in America? Guns, no guns... doesn't really matter, the thought process is out of wack! More guns and more violence will fix everything this was kind of what I was addressing in the OP. IF guns are off limits, maybe we can work on mentalities instead?

Another shooting https://www.yahoo.com/news/2-teenagers-gunned-down-kentucky-152031657.html Okay, so is it time ..? to maybe bring up the next generations with mandated ANGER MANAGEMENT and dispute resolution courses in school? well that could be a start. i would have a bit more faith in it, if i saw any proof that similar mandates had any provable results. cuz the mandated sex ed and substance abuse courses have worked so well. at the same time i really don't have a constructive thought on how to positively or even negatively reinforce a change.

Chicago has very strict gun laws and major gun violence Even without guns, people can stab, bomb or run people over, like in other countries. In Texas, I am glad for gun laws but my 2nd amendment too. I will protect me, loved ones and property Canadians get nervous if there's a gun near the border... I'd like to see the look on his face if he ever walks down the street here in Texas... Texas is farther from Canada than Chicago so I am not worried lol

I don't think the 15 million illegals in the US would vote for it though. i dont think illegals are permitted to vote or relevant to the question at hand. you think wrong...again. Anger management in school would help. What would help more would be to teach the consequences of criminal behavior. Criminals with guns kill many more people than lone nut jobs every year. A good place to start would be in sanctuary cities such as: Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore criminals with guns didnt start out that way. Somewhere along the way, they developed criminal 'mentality', which if addressed proactively might reduce the times it is necessary to impart 'consequences' reactively

For someone to get help, they have to want it. But it takes the people closest to see it, like family. A school, community, etc don't know a person that close.

That is true. Once they need help, it has to be their choice. but proactive education would be catching them before they get to the point of needing help.

Which makes a deportion free option for them when they are of AGE to enter a contract, a reasonable and humane solution.
