Yes, I've been up most of the night having severe stomach cramping and running to the bathroom.

I'm fine other than that...well aside from my seriously wanting to go home and not really having a home to go to slaphead

Glad to hear you are doing better...i had that 48 hr stomach thingie once...hit me like a ton of bricks...amazingly enough, after winning the yakking and hurling contest for 2 days, the darn thing went away as if nothing ever happened...there is also that norovirus that hits cruise ships and resorts with some regularity...unless you had muscle aches and all the other stuf associated with the flu, you probably had only a stomach thing...

oh yes, the only other time i remember having something like that, i took drastic action...i drank that stuff...you know the cleanser stuff...i blew out the feeding channel/intake chute (esophagus), the food storage/churner/grinder (stomach), and the exit chute...recovered quickly after that...hungry as heck the next day...

Aloha Mayb, I'm pretty sure it's the stomach bug. No one else seems to have food poisoning and we're all eating the same stuff. At least not that I've heard.

Only other pain I'm feeling is in my legs and lower back, other than that, no achey muscles or fever. I thought maybe food poisoning because of the intense pain, but I guess the bug can give you major stomach cramps too.

Still having a little discomfort, but am able to drink chicken broth and eat dry toast with no problems. I added a little rice to my broth for tonight and had a very small piece of fish that the chef gave me, it didn't have any spicy sauce or anything on it, just the fish. So far, all is well. And hopefully I will get some sleep tonight.

Morning Eric

Yes, kept waking up, but my tummy feels much better.

Hopefully it still will after I eat something.

Yep, or it was the tea I was drinking.

I was drinking the Kava Stress Relief tea, and found out that Kava can have adverse side effects for some people. Plus there's a possibility of it hurting your liver. I started drinking it a week ago. Didn't last night though

No, years ago I used Kava tea to help me sleep. So I started using it again a week ago. A friend sent me a care package with the tea, chocolates, and a warm blanket happy

But the box had a warning on, I pretty much ignored it at the time, but read more about it yesterday and it's possible it was the tea.

might hafta do some surfing to get some more info on the tea

I did last night. It's not worth messing with. I drank it years ago and don't remember having adverse side effects, so figured it was good. And back then the research on Kava was different. Or maybe I just looked for the research that supported my drinking it. think
