I am meeting a man for the first time and I am to stop some place for our dinner. What do you suggest I get? If you say pizza please say what kind. I need suggestions.

Some kind of finger food. Its a lot of fun and laid back at the same time. Though I can't think of anything specific.

 You are suppose to meet him where? A park, a club, his place where? have you talked about what kinds of food you both like/dislike??? Then maybe we can be a little more helpful.

How about Chinese or Mexican - that way you can get a little variety...a bit of this, a bit of that...
I find that most men seem to like bbq -- for one blind date, I grabbed a basket from my stash, stopped by the market deli and got a pint of coleslaw, pint of potato salad, some fried chicken, and bbq sandwiches -- except for the salad (which I had small paper plates for but we shared the container instead) -- it was finger food and we had a great time! Why not ask him what he likes and choose from there?
Keep it simple hun.

since ur meeting 4the 1st time id go 2a bar n grill that way if u dont like each other at least theres beer.

I am going to his place and we both love all kinds of food and he said for me to surprise him and I have no idea what to get. we have been talking for 3 months now and talk everyday on the phone. |

Mixed that is and wine. |

I love japanese so if it were me I'd love it if a girl brought over sushi. I like chinese food too but most chinese places, like the ones that deliver have terrible chinese food. Authentic chinese can be hard to find, if I see that there's a lot of asians eating inside I'll usually give it a try otherwise I'd rather have the happy meal. (yeah the toy makes it a meal and entertainment combined) |

Take Chinese or Japanese food...
Do not take a pizza! A pizza would not be very impressive if you ask me. Have fun!!!

so far I think I will go with Chinese and grab some BBQ for the side. but I am still looking for more suggestions

Hmmm ok, well thats up to you then. Even if I was working, I would still cook dinner. Maybe nothing fancy, but since you are making the trip over, I would cook and have some wine chilled.
Otherwise that earlier happy meal suggestion could work..just make sure you get the one that has the toy for the boy .. not the girl one. Good luck on your date!

ok Chinese and a boy happy meal so we can play together and I will stick a bottle of BBQ sauce in my purse so He can pour it on his hamburger and I should have it covered.
