It can, it does.. However, just because a couple devorcies, doesn't mean the love between them stops in some cases.

Take my first wife, PLEASE!

And dump her in a volcano.

But my 2nd wife and I are best friends and I love her, we are not "in" love though.

My ex fiancee and I are still friends, and I love her, but we're not IN love, but we're still good friends and since I helped raise her twin boys, they will always be part of my life.

However, it is quite possible for love to cease completely between two people.

How. Because most of the time ( not all, but most) when 2 people divorce they have fallen out of love. They may still care deeply for the other person, but not love them anymore.

Note the exception, most but not all...Divorce means the end of the relationship but in and of itself does not necessarily mean the end of loving the person...i know that from personal experince...

there is always the exceptions. Mine experience being we fell out of love.. The caring is still there, but not the love that brought us together in the first place.

has love an end ?

The responses do not support a generalization or rule regarding your question about love...so, you pay your nickel and you take your ride...how it ends is not the same for each person...
