I'm using NO-Xplode and multi-vitamin. I get a protein shake free at the gym after each work out.
Is there anything else I should be taking? |

CE2, NO2, Gakic, and do tons of reps with low weight. If you can move your arms the next day you didn't do enough. Later start adding some high weight stuff.

first off what are you goals. your working out? but you didnt mention if you wanna bulk or if you wanna cut.
thro the NO-explode out the window, keep the shake and multi-v. |
|
|
|
Why through NO-Xplode out? Seemed to have worked...like, feel the burn, feel the fatigue, but you can keep going anyway.

Goals are growing large, and wide. I got the ripped part, that's like natural, but actually getting larger is the challenge.

Goals are growing large, and wide. I got the ripped part, that's like natural, but actually getting larger is the challenge. your wasting your money.. all it is an oxitive.. buy L-arginine and 3000g a day. way cheaper than NO-explode and does the samething.. again.. diet. protein is what you need. take how much you weigh and times that by 2 and you have to take in that many grams of protien(ex. you 100bls, you take in 200g of protein a day.) eat every 3 hours, eat like horse. make sure you seperate your complex and your impact carbs because you want minimize gainin as much BF as possbile. switch up your routine.. 3-4 exericses for each body part. keep the reps anywhere from 10-12, increasing weight each set. do not spend any more than an hour in the gym, if you spend an hour weight trainig you are over training. make sure you are using all free wieghts and hammer strengh equipment. free weights are better because it hit your stablizers. hammer strentgh helps shape the muscle.. there is alot more to tell you, if you wanna kno more email me. there are many secrets to gainin mass, it the most diffucult thing to do when changin your physique but it takes time and will be worth it in the end |

Rather than emailing you, how about just posting here to share with everyone?
That's a lot of protein...I'll have to wait until payday after Christmas to afford that. I mostly use free-weights as it is, but, when it gets to heavy, I gotta go machines because you can help yourself out when it gets a little to heavy. I'd do all free weights with a spotter, but that's not always an option for me. My sister's boyfriend says I can't get any larger, it's not my body type. He told me I have the body type that gets lean muscle, and can easily get ripped, but I will have a hard time getting larger, if I even can. He said he's the opposite, and can get large, but has a hard time getting ripped. Any truth to that? |

no, there isn't truth to that... anyone can get bigger
a friend I workout with is 5'6" started high school wrestling at like 92lbs ... he graduated at about 120lbs ... since then he has put on 40lbs of muscle... he squats 475lbs, benches a ton, etc you CAN get bigger, work out hard, eat well, protein, protein, protein... |
|
|
|
How about him? He wants to get cut. Is it just harder for me to get big, and harder for him to get ripped?

How about him? He wants to get cut. Is it just harder for me to get big, and harder for him to get ripped? he needs to do cardio ... I'd suggest HIIT ... look it up getting ripped is all about losing body fat to expose the muscle underneath... I'd say they are equally difficult |

I was about 5'7 and 130 a few years ago, I started working out and got up to 180 I'm definately not massive or anything like that. The thing is that building muscle increases your Basal metabolic rate so you start burning calories like crazy. I was using creatine and protein shakes and trying to eat at least every 4 hours. After a while I just felt like I was spending too much money on food, I was eating all the time and I figure that if I wanted to maintain and build more I'd have to eat like this for the rest of my life. I think with my body and eating habits 165-170 is about right. Plus shirts already fit funny on me, when the shoulders fit right the sleeves are way too long. I haven't worked out in awhile and diets been crap so I'm at 180 but flabby...time to start up again.
