i use to feel so guilty leaving my horse outside, if i could have taken him in i would...he did act just like a dog

i see many people with so called pets ,and they cant even take care of themselves, i think you should have to pay bigtime for a licence to own a pet, there are so many people that abuse animals it makes me sick.!!! jmo

I had neighbors like this last winter.. I reported them, the local police came out every day to make sure their animals were taken of until they finally took the animals away. It broke my heart to see them outside all the time, in all kinds of weather. Their owners came out to toss a little food and water in the cage every other day or so, never let them out of their cages. never interacted with them at all........why have pets if you are not going to make them part of your family???!!

i hate hearing about animal abuse i use to volunteer at shelters and resorts so sickning when an abused animal comes in and surprisingly it is much too common

Lilbug, I was touched by your comments about pets. I've always had a dog &/or cat, mostly one of each. They're great, loyal companions & they never judge us. I applaud those involved in animal rescue.
I'm such a sucker for a dog that slobbers me with sloppy 'kisses' or cat that rubs against me, purring that I don't think I could them give up if I took them more my house totally overrun if I started taking strays in. It takes a special person to be able to do rescue work.

Buttercup, there's a pic of her on my profile, is like my daughter, she sleeps with me, she is my buddy, my companion, my protector. She gives me unconditional love and devotion. I cannot look into her sweet face, her eyes and hurt her...it would just about kill me.

i don't know what i do to my animals but they all end up with no social skills, i tend to baby them to no end, i did that with my first horse i got him at 14 by the time i sold him he didn't know he was a horse, he wouldn't even bother with other horses only people i damage my animals keep them far away!

cute story for ya gals. i was drivin in town and stopped at a light guy beside me with his dog in passenger seat like she owned the truk, he looks over i look at him dog lookin at me too roll down window i say beautfull dog "german shepard". he says thnx ya we bin married 5 yrs. lmao
