Topic: Where in the world is Matt Lauer? | |

How exactly was he a perv? All I have 'heard' is he had an affair. Are all men who have affairs or ever had affairs now open to being fired from their jobs? He had "an" affair?. a affair is a mutual agreement. what he did was far from mutual.. far from it. Which, by the way he is not denying. no staunch rebuttal..no cry of lies and injustice.. nothing. so you are innocent and you put up absolutely no fight? He used his power and standing to lure in woman, mostly young women who were easy pry. only if you believe women are helpless to making their own decisions about men, in power or not, and whether to visit their HOMES and carry on contacts with them OUTSIDE OF WORK beyond that, I would still like to know what he actually DID, not just repeated name calling of the man. Many of these were not outside of work.. MS, it was right in his office AT WORK. and he locked the door via a under the desk button. So, get your fact straight. And the fact is.. he is not denying MANY of these.. he ADMITTED his actions were unwanted. He now stated that HE is embarrassed about his actions. you don't like women.. do you? I don't like judging without evidence for myself, beyond 'delayed victimhood' years or decades later or claims that a relation was not consensual but no evidence that the relation was in any way forced or threatened. I dont like how easy it is to claim something that is consensual in the moment was non consensual after the fact if it doesn't develop into what was wanted. |

That song has been going through my head since the news broke. The guy's a perv, and has admitted it. Too many like him have been getting away with it for too long. This |

The below is HIS words... sounds like he is taking responsibility for his actions.. to me. doesn't sound consensual to me..HE is saying a lot if it is TRUE But YOU need proof.. his words are not enough for you? Again, the guy never had a problem standing up to most.. anything.. here he accept it.. and leaves.. quietly... sound innocent to you?.. here he doesn't stand up for his name.. reputation.. family.. job.. if he was in fact innocent.. really? ___________________________________________________________________ Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed,” Mr. Lauer wrote in a message issued by his public relations team. “I regret that my shame is now shared by the people I cherish dearly.” “There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions,” Mr. Lauer wrote. “To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry. As I am writing this I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC.” |

those words tell me nothing except he is embarrassed, could be that being married and carrying on outside of the relationship, also known as adultery
could be an embarassment, still no details of what he did that warrants any relevance for him losing his job. |

I dont recall 'willie' or his wife judging adulterers, unlike most of the republicans calling to impeach him while having their own affairs ....just saying |

It wasn't just Lewinsky. Paula Jones anyone? the woman who went to his hotel room and CLAIMED that he 'exposed' himself to her?, didnt touch her, threaten her, or rape her,, but 'allegedly' exposed himself,, which she didnt say anything about for THREE YEARS? yeah,,, not exactly any more damning than me claiming my ex boss 'exposed' themself to me .. not exactly much evidence besides an allegation .... |

It wasn't just Lewinsky. Paula Jones anyone? Doesn't matter, if a President is caught bone dancing with interns in the oval office it is nothing more then infidelity ( a husband / wife issue).. according to MS. the public should keep out of it... none of our business Right MS? |

He's probably out in East Hampton (where he lives). What I really want to know is, Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? He is.. it is a know fact according to friends and people he works with that the guy was a womanizer.. and he has been pulling this S**T for years using his power as leverage. Now his wife bolted back to Europe and will most likely take him for every dime he has. who loses here... his kids.. that's who It is not power or money or fame that bring men down.. its p**sy. been that way since Hercules |
