Yes, that tastes a lot better. I don't always rinse it, but I always drain it really good, sometimes pat it with paper towels, it keeps more of the flavor in.

Well, napal is a country boarding China and I think Pakistan,
It's a mixture of Chinese and Indian I think, never had it.
The ghurka soldiers have been part of our army for years . They are feared by everyone for the way they fight. but really polite and respectful guys.

i found the taste stays after rinsing as long as you don't cook it in too big of a skillet so it cooks in the juices. the the drain and rinse is fine but the leaner the beef the less flavor from the fat

Sounds yummy. I like both, so a combination of the two would be really tasty I think.

That should be a cool visit for you, trying new foods and a little bit of the military stuff mixed in.

Yes, ground turkey is a good substitution once you get used to the different taste.

then just rinse you mince after draining, under hot water that will wash more of the standing fat off of it

Veggie burgers yes, but it depends on the kind, some are gross.

And I only like Tofu if it's small bits mixed with something, not by itself. When it's mixed in, it takes on the flavor of the dish.
