Have you ever noticed that when people get really into a song, they close their eyes? Its because when you cut off one sense, the others become stronger.

Have you ever noticed that when people get really into a song, they close their eyes? Its because when you cut off one sense, the others become stronger. ******************************************* With SOME songs, I DO close my eyes, yes indeed. But that's because I switch to a TRANSCENDENCE level and try to live or imagine the world of the artists.. Writer and singer that is As it happens, if I do that, it means I like theirs imagination/s or phantasies of theirs world they feel most comfortable writing or singing. As it my sound strange to some, IT IS NORMAL 2 ME. |

Is this like when a woman asks that fatal question
‘Does my a$$ look big in this dress’ She squints as she looks at you for the answer. |

Yeah, I think it has to do with when you are trying to concentrate on one thing, better to cut out your other senses. Sometimes when I listen to music and I really want to hear it, I close my eyes. If I'm driving in an unfamiliar town, especially a big town, I have to turn off the radio so I can focus. Cat, you sure did hit home with the last sentence. That is so true. |
